A while back Candy Crash Test dabbled in the milk chocolate counterpart.

Down in the basement of the slightly bigger manufacturing facility. A different variety has been made in the traditional sized selection. White Reese’s peanut butter cups is exactly what it saids on the packaging. Instead of milk chocolate, we find white chocolate as the replacement. Found these on a little confectionery cart inside the Birmingham, UK Bullring called “Yankee Doodle Candy,” up on the upper floor.
Tip: “Melt any peanut butter cup chocolate candy gentle in a pan over a low heat and make the best ice-cream sauce,” – Rob Wotton, Yankee Doodle Candy
The packaging has been changed from orange to white and the label from yellow to orange.
Still recognizable if you were passing by a rack of candy. Same great smell of the peanut butter as soon as you open the packet. Pretty heavenly, a balanced smell without the hint of fake chocolate in the background plaguing the peanut butter. The same catch-a-crumb cake cases are still used. The cup blinds you for a seconds as the chocolate is so vibrant up against the brown cup cases.
Now the taste… Its actually pretty good. The full flavour of the peanut butter is intensified and a slight subtle milky flavour gains as the peanut butter dissolves. A different texture to the original as it has a slight rough texture on the peanut butter which helps with the texture of the cup. Not as sickly sweets as the traditional cup, which means instead of saving these. These will be eaten in a few minutes rather than a few hours.
